FURRS MILL ROAD

Road run with both hilly and flat portions, access from Lexington
6.7 miles (out-and-back) - 555 feet elevation gain
This run is popular among students and other runners looking for a strenuous out-and-back with little traffic, accessible from Lexington. The road has some sharp bends with limited visibility, so be alert and prepared to move off the road if necessary. Feel free to continue further along Furrs Mill Road, which will eventually become Big Spring Drive. This run can also easily be connected with Woods Creek Trail or the Chessie Trail.

Free parking and restrooms are available at Jordan's Point Park.
